The Technical conference: Development Perspectives & Leadership in Refining Manifest of LUKOIL was held on 20-21 March 2019 in Nizhny Novgorod. VTO Promtech took part in it. The following topics were raised and discussed at the conference:
1. Industry Trends and Oil & Gas Companies Development Plans
2. Operational Improvement of Production Processes & Performance Optimisation
3. Innovations in technology
4. Asset Management - Best Practices, Securing of High Level of Process Safety, Reliability and Availability of Units and Equipment, Ways to Improve Production Management.
The relevance of the conference arises from the Strategic Development Program of LUKOIL Group focused on driving sustainable growth in key performance indicators and also pursuing additional growth opportunities till 2027 approved by the Board of Directors in 2017. To reach these goals the company has identified key sectors such as improving operational efficiency and technology development. So these two courses became the topics of top-priority at the conference.
A scientific-practical conference named Crucial Tasks in Oil-refining and Petrochemical Industry took place in Gubkin Russian State University of Oil and Gas from November 21st to 23rd. There was also the final meeting on the Union Strategy of the technology of producing and of hydrocarbons and deep conversion of hydrocarbon resources.
The sessions discussed the priorities in the development of the petrochemical industry and the promising tasks of the innovative development of the fuel and energy complex; modern technologies of production and efficient use of hydrocarbons; questions on oil and gas chemistry; innovative approaches and technologies of hydrocarbon processing within the context of import self-sufficiency; digitalization of the production.
As a part of the Russian-British Raw Materials Dialogue, a business session was held in Saint-Petersburg Mining University. Executives and specialists from both countries attended the meeting to participate in a discussion mainly relating to future outlook for trade and investment cooperation between our countries.
The business meeting, which took place on 30th of January, was attended by a delegation from the UK’s Department of International Trade, headed by John Lindfield, Director of the Department, as well as by the Principal of the Mining University Vladimir Litvinenko. Representatives of Russian and British mining and oil and gas companies were also among the participants - "Gazprom Neft", OJSC PhosAgro, Russia Smiths Detection, Rotork, and a few others.
From April 16 to 19, 2018 the 18th international exhibition of equipment and technologies for the oil and gas complex Neftegaz-2018 will take place on the Krasnopresnenskaya Naberezhnaya in the Central Exhibition Complex Expocenter in Moscow.
This is the largest international exhibition in Russia and CIS countries. This exhibition has become the center of attraction of professional interests of the world oil and gas industry. The interest in the exhibition and its scale correspond to the role played by the extraction, processing and transportation of oil and gas in the economy of any country.
October 25th, 2016 as part of cooperation programme with the British Embassy in Moscow and British oil and gas companies, VTO PromTech and its partners Severn Glocon, Netherlocks and SMITH will contribute to organization and holding a roundtable dedicated to ecology and industrial safety issues.
